THE BACKGROUND
Justin "Kutmah" McNulty was born in the UK to an Egyptian mother and Scottish father. He moved
to the US when he was 12 years old. They immediately applied for US residency to keep from being sent to Egypt.
The US court ruled that as a British citizen Kutmah would be able to live in the UK and denied their application.

Kutmah returned to court to plead his case fourteen years ago when he was 20. He was
again denied a green card and was urged to sign a document stating he would voluntary leave the US.

On Wednesday morning, May 5th, 2010 armed agents entered Kutmah's house and detained him. He was brought to a
facility in downtown LA where he was interrogated. On May 7th he was moved to a New Mexico detention center
where he was locked up until June 29th. Kutmah was deported to the UK where he currently resides.
